WHAT MAKES US SPECIAL?

Two things. First of all, nobody makes leather saddles the way we do. Traditionally, leather saddles are soaked in water, cold-molded at room temperature to the proper shape, and then baked in an oven. This style of saddle making produces a very hard leather top that can take years to break in. Our saddles are hot-molded dry. No water. This produces a much more pliable leather top that conforms more quickly to your unique shape. Hot dry molding alone is an impressive innovation but we didn't stop there. Our patented Flex-Fly slot has inverted rear wings that allow your sit bones to push the leather out of the way as you ride. This technology which is unique to Selle Anatomica reduces perineal pressure, sit bone pain, and saddle sores.

It's like having a thousand nano-urologists managing the undercarriage pressure points with a level of precision that would make a Swiss engineer scratch his head.Beautiful craftsmanship, and made in the USA. No more double shorts on the long rides. Twenty-five years of riding and I've never been motivated to post a product review. Stop reading reviews and buy this saddle.


FLEX-FLY SLOT

The two sides of your body move independently. Your saddle should move with them. The slot is the most important part of our suspended leather design. The specific shape of our patented slot's inverted rear wings allows the saddle to move with you. We call it Flex-Fly. It reduces perineal pressure, sit bone pain, and saddle sores. Allowing the leather to move under your sit bones is what makes our saddles so comfortable. This is the only functional slot in the industry. And it’s patented so nobody else can do it.

LAMINATE LAYERS

Laminates provide support on the underside of the saddle. T Series has a large laminate which supports the leather upper to allow just enough flex. X Series employs two laminates whose grains cross each other in an opposing X pattern providing maximum stretch resistance. Did we mention the break in period? There isn't one. Your saddle will feel great starting on day one.
